1000 Museum by Zaha Hadid
The headline on the front page of The Miami Herald reads “ Miami’s never seen a tower quite like this”. For the beautiful simplicity of its construction and for the level of luxury, this is true. 1000 Museum will be the most exclusive and luxurious building in Miami. The exoskeleton, manufactured in Dubai and assembled in Miami, eliminates the interior columns that support other towers. The result is an openness in the interior spaces that is rarely achieved. The material of the exoskeleton acts as a prism, refracting light, much in the way jewels do, so the play of the natural light from the sky at different times of day will be striking. Pritzer Prize winning architect, Zaha Hadid has designed every detail, down to the handles on the cabinets. The units are delivered finished, including flooring rather than “decorator ready”. The 62 floor tower is now completing the 34th floor, with delivery scheduled for the last Quarter of 2018. Currently the sale prices are about $1500 per square foot. Zaha Hadid resided part-time in Miami. Her early death last year makes this building a poignant legacy to a city she loved. 1000 Museum at 1000 Biscayne Blvd. is ideally located, overlooking Museum Park and Biscayne Bay. The luxury, privacy, and security of 1000 Museum have the building ranked as one of the 10 most desirable in the world. I find it exciting to work with buyers in different buildings; there is so much to learn about the architecture and design, the development, and the amenities.
